Sam Tomkins

Sam is a professional rugby league player, currently playing for the Wigan Warriors in the Super League. After five seasons with the Warriors, in September 2013 he signed a three-year contract with NRL side the New Zealand Warriors. In 2010 he scored at Old Trafford as Wigan won the Grand Final. He won the Challenge Cup in 2011 and 2013, scoring a last minute try in the latter. In 2012 he was voted Man of Steel by fellow players whilst he has been a part of the Super League Dream Team for 5 consecutive seasons since 2009. He is currently England's all time top try scorer with 19 tries in 19 appearances for the Lions. Sam has two brothers who also play rugby. Older brother Joel is at Saracens playing rugby union, while younger brother Logan is at Wigan.
